(Source: US Senate Committee on Appropriations) 06.16.16 WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Senate Appropriations Committee today approved the FY2017 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill with funding for the U.S. Department of Treasury, Small Business Administration, the federal judiciary, and a variety of independent federal agencies. The $22.4 billion measure is $1 billion below the FY2016 enacted level, which required making targeted investments to encourage small business growth while strengthening efforts on counterterrorism, cybersecurity and agency oversight.
